Desmond is a ROCKSTAR! Inspiring, positive, fun, motivating and pushing you just the right amount according to your fitness level. Just out of grad school and settling into a new city and job, I was out of my fitness routine. I first attended Desmond’s ab attack and rapid body fire classes at GE. They were fun and Desmond encouraged me to keep going with his “the mind quits before the body” mantra. Each class I felt stronger and was inspired to try harder the next time.  I also started personal training weekly with Desmond to focus on weightlifting. Desmond is very thorough and tailored exercises for my target areas. He also helped me get my nutrition back on track and held me accountable with his “what are you doing?!” voice in my head when I reached for something unhealthy. Desmond motivated me to get back to my athletic self and as a result I’ve regained my energy levels, am stronger and fit into my pre-grad school clothes again. I’ve since moved to Norwalk with GE and Desmond’s classes and his motivation are greatly missed!

First of all, I do want to say thank you for teaching the class and motivating me to push me to my limit.

First Day:

I would have to say that the first day of class was the hardest exercise routine I have ever done. I have ran a half marathon, a marathon and given birth and those three experiences did not prepare me for your class. My whole body felt like a noodle afterwards and I was in pain for 2 days. I felt defeated but the feeling of failure gave me the motivation to get better

Now:

The classes are still very challenging but I find myself able to get through the exercises decently. I can see my endurance getting much better. I have better control of my movements.
